When I was 9, I wanted to be an astronaut. Just because getting into space was so cool.
I hit 10 and wanted to be superman. But only better. So I came up with “Bullet-Proof-Titanium-Armour-Smart-Man” (well because everyone knows supes is not as smart as the Bat). Note that this was before I had heard of Iron Man.
I hit 18 and just wanted to get into colloge.
At 23, I was playing Quake 3 and was one of India’s best players. Some people still talk of the golden times.
At 26 (a year back) I was confused on what I wanted to do. I had this mid life crisis (or quarter life if you will) and I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do.
I realised that learning about people and spreading the word about famous and succesfull people was something that I thoroughly enjoy reading. It’s not success I am enchanted by, it is people. The way they do the things they do, what drives them, what motivates them? How do they go beyond what they are doing normally as part of the herd (getting married, getting kids, paying for their tuition, growing old and dying) to something spectacular?
I read almost every biography out there, I love the way people think and do and overcome constraints.
This blog is about people. People in Business, people in productivity, people of design, heck even neighbours close to you might be featured if they have done something remarkable. Step in get your feet wet, I occassionally babble about India (where I currently live), a lot about personal productivity, startups and entrepreneurship (which I love reading about and engaging with) and reviews of books , movies and music.
