Posted: November 24th, 2008 | 2 Comments »by a hot shot web designer who hath no time to teach after initially sorta being ok with the teaching thing. Lesson is “Self help is the best help”. I really think though, I might have come across as creepy. But I am so loveable, this makes me sad :/.
On to the other news though, jogging has been consistent, I even did a 11.00 pm midnight run, it’s been 2 weeks and I don’t see changes fast enough, will have to pump it up more. Cutting down on those 5 teas and removing junk shit have helped. It’s the run that is mentally an ache.
I read a really good post on Talent is overrated which you can access here. I have also found a good blog focus and will start working on that, I have been getting great tips and as usual Guy Kawasaki’s book has a plethora of great info. If you haven’t got it, make you get your copy of Reality Check asap. IT is one of the best books I have read this year.
I’ll be going to the Middle east as well for New Years, can’t wait to have some fun there. I am thinking of also getting a computer (desktop) soon, will be hitting the computer supermarket soon.
If you are in the USA and are attending the Thanksgiving sale, can you please get me a super cool apple set of ear phones? Please?

As for self-help, I agree – I’m self-taught myself – I’m no hot-shot but I get by decently well. No formal design education – my teacher was and after four years – still is, the Internet. If someone asked me to teach them design, I wouldn’t know where to start & so as to not come across as a moron, I would probably end up refusing to teach altogether.
